　　17Cr3用于心部强度要求较高和表面承受磨损、尺寸较大的、或形状较复杂而负荷不大的渗碳零件，如齿轮、齿轮轴、凸轮、活塞销、蜗杆等，也可用作工作速度大并承受中等冲击负荷的调质零件。[1]
